At our third and final Coffee Chat of the quarter, we’re going to discuss and learn about the many holidays around the world. We will also be comparing holiday culture and traditions in the United States to other countries in the world. Be sure to stop by and chat with us! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

In honor of International Education Week, ISEP is hosting an open house in our new I-Lounge.  Stop by for fun activities, snacks, and prizes.  IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

Meet Your Academic Advisor

Come meet your academic advisors! Academic advisors will speak on a panel and address common issues that international students face in their schools. Afterwards, we will break off into groups by school, and students will have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with their advisors.

Global Viewpoint Lounge, Student Center ISEP’s Global Scholars program presents Speaker Series, a quarterly series meant to create an open discussion about achieving academic excellence and maintaining student success at UCI.Our first Speaker Series of the school year will focus on one question: What does it take to be a successful international student at UCI?

Guest Speaker Dr. Yong Chen , an international student at Cornell University, and now Professor of History at UCI, will be sharing his own background as an international student in the U.S., his tips on excelling in your classes and getting involved in research, and will talk about finding your passion at UCI. We hope to see you there! Light refreshments will be provided.
