IPG Mentee participation requires that active Mentees attend 1 Passport to Leadership workshop during the 15-16 academic year. Please review the information below to learn more about the Passport to Leadership program and their Fall 15 workshop schedule.

Considered one of the premiere leadership education programs, the Passport to Leadership trains UCI’s students to be leaders on campus and beyond!

The Passport to Leadership program provides an educational pathway for UCI Students interested in maximizing their potential as leaders. Passport is geared toward giving students a thorough education in leadership development and providing resources to emerging leaders.

Note: The final program Global Leadership Certificate Program Orientation for Winter Quarter 2016 will be on Monday, February 8 (Week 6) from 4:00-5:20 pm in Student Services II, Room 1010. 

Requirements

For web page
  • Help plan one Mentor Family Activity / quarter
  • Attend one Mentor Family Activity / quarter
  • Complete & update your Mentee Action Plan with your Mentor
  • Meet with your Mentor every other week
  • View Academic Integrity videos with your Mentor (or see them acted out live!!!)
  • Attend 1 Global Leadership Certificate Program Orientation 1 Passport to Leadership workshop
  •

  • Resume-writing assistance
  • Leadership & goal-setting experience
  • Eligible to be hired as an IPG Mentor
  • Receive certificate of completion at annual IPG banquet
  • Eligible to participate in Application & Interview Preparation Workshop (held during Winter quarter)
  • Letter of recommendation from Civic & Community Engagement Office (given only in Spring)
